best. day. ever. (maybe make that best five minutes after school ever!)

so one of my former students is basically famous. he plays ball for indiana and is a stud. if you watch any of their games, you'll just keep hearing the announcers brag on verdell jones iii. he's mine. and i love him. this year, i have his little brother in my geometry class and i'm not gonna lie, every home game, i have to think of indiana's schedule to see if there is any chance of V being at his kid brother's game (and there never is a chance... it's so sad!). well, today after school i'm in my room and clayton (verdell's little bro) comes to the door and points towards the end of the hall and i'm thinking, "great, who is out there and what are they doing and why can't they just go home after school?" and i look (well, you see where this is going) and i see VERDELL! it was so exciting! and i got to give him a little hug and ask about school and oh, i just love him! it seriously made my day! and he probably thinks i'm a freak because i definitely told him not only that i watch him on tv, but that my friends and parents and everyone knows all about him. yeah. whatever, i was just so excited! and i may have texted four of my besties... the ones that know the most about him... aka dana, rach, josh, and annie t. ha ha... lucky them!

new story. i meant to write this yesterday, but i'm having computer issues. aka my power cord is messed up and doesn't always work and my battery is crap and lasts all of two minutes if it isn't plugged in. no worries, the new cord should be here tomorrow. anyway, back to my little story. yesterday between third and fourth hour, it was really loud in the hall and so we had to wonder if there was a fight, but then a teacher came walking from that direction so i figured the kids were just being loud because that happens on a regular basis. well then my former neighbor who is a PE teacher and was playing dean for a day comes past in a huge hurry. turns out it was a fight. then the hall monitor started bringing one of the girls my way and a dean came up and dang, this girl was acting a fool. no really, there is no other way to describe it. she just looked so ignorant. well, then it's time for class to start. a few minutes later, favorite walks in and so i realize it's time for me to walk him to his class so we're walking down the hall and he's pretty bummed that he missed a fight (he likes to record them on his phone) and he's like, "where was it?" and i go, "around here... oh look, some napkins a bottle of juice..." and then look at the other side of the hall and go, "oh, it was definitely here... there's four braids." yeah, four braids had been pulled out of the girl i saw. ay yi yi. i keep thinking at least it wasn't her actual hair, but i'm pretty sure it probably hurts just as bad when it gets pulled out because they are like sewn into the actual hair or something like that. then after fourth hour gets out, favorite comes back in my room and goes "'so and so' was the other girl in the fight." ugh! 'so and so' had just gotten to school at the end of third hour (she's in my third hour) and i love her and i didn't want to believe it but favorite said she was texting him and was suspended. and she is. but just for the rest of this week. seriously, kid? ay yi yi. i LOVE this girl and she's so good in my class. she said the other girl was running her mouth and i can definitely see this, but seriously, 'so and so', keep your cool, girl. (she says girl all the time! i just love her! and i miss her!)
