how sad are away games?

my kids played in decatur (vs. decatur eisenhower) tonight so i couldn't go to the game (although even if it was here, i may not have due to the gross and rainy weather!). i just caught the recap on the news (and am very proud of myself for staying up to watch it! it is past my bedtime, but it is friday so i guess i can stay up a little later!) and we won... well, more like dominated! we won 43-0 and are now 3-0! we are one of three teams in the big 12 who are still undefeated! they listed the three teams on the news, but i can just remember us and decatur macarthur who we play at home in two weeks! i'll have to find out who the other team is and when we play them!

and no worries, i will most likely find tomorrow's news-gazette article in the morning and post it on here so you can read all about it!

and if it mentions an amazing kid named denzel, just know that i've hardly seen him the past couple weeks, but yesterday morning i heard my name and turned and looked and it was obviously him and as i looked over at him he pretended to put his hat on! it's like our thing... he walks by in the hall, i tell him to take it off, he does, and then gets a little past me, looks back at me and pretends to put it on again! ay yi yi... these kids are too much! but at least he's too much in a good way!
