bittersweet...

well, we've lost two weeks in a row now which SUCKS, but tonight's game was better than last weeks... or at least it seemed less frustrating! although that's probably because it was so much more fun! i went by myself (talk about a MAJOR complex there), but i found some students right away that i sat by (really it was okay, they came up to me and hung out with me at the powder puff game last night) and then they were there on and off but so were other students so i had people to talk to for most of the game!

and i got to see one of my all time favorite people in the whole wide world! last year i met this girl kayla from tutoring in the library and so she started coming to me for math help and just to hang out with other people after school sometimes and then at the end of the year i found out she was moving and it was the saddest thing ever... she was crying that last day. then when i got my roster, she was on it for my first hour class and i was like, she's moving, i don't want to get my hopes up, but obviously they were way up because kayla rocks my world but then when she wasn't there the first day, i knew it wasn't going to happen, but i still kept putting papers together for her until they took off my roster and when they did, it was a sad day. well today she came up after school and i'm like what in the world? and she was here for homecoming so that was the absolute best part of my day... hands down! well then i got to see her at the game for a few minutes, too! so that made me happy!

what also made me happy was homecoming court... i found out first hour that two of the kids in that class are on court... tanner and alexis (they are the sophomores that won! and i have them both!) and i adore both of them! at half-time everyone on court went out on the field and i tried to get a good picture, but failed miserably, but here is a cropped (and therefore blurrier) version of the picture i took... they really are awesome and cuter than they look below!
