so i turn my car on this morning as usual and the air bag light pops on... no biggie, all the lights usually come on and then turn off... i guess i just don't pay much attention to it. well, i pull out of my spot and start pulling out of the parking lot and the light is still on. great. i consider turning the car off and then back on again but i'm already running late because let's face it, it's monday AND i straightened my hair (but at least i looked super cute today!). so i keep driving on the light starts blinking... my thought, seriously car, what is wrong with you? so i start freaking out that the air bag is going to pop out at me... then it goes off... yes! then a whole two seconds later it comes on blinking again... then it just stays on for a few seconds... then blinking... then off... and so the cycle continues and my only thought, "what if the air bag pops out while i'm drinking my slimfast and i spill it all over my white shirt." i start thinking about my clothes in the dryer and the few clean shirts i have and wonder what i could have dana grab and then i could meet her somewhere so i don't have to go all the way home and all the way back to school because then i would be late... then i FINALLY get to my turn at windsor (all of eight minutes after i turned my car on) and bada bing, bada boom! the light goes off! yes! all i had to do was turn! but then i'm thinking, uh oh, i'm gonna turn in another minute, what if it comes back on? so then i turn and life is good... i open the slimfast and take a sip of that wonderful chocolate breakfast and "beep beep beep" the light pops back on and the lovely little thing that tells me the date and also informs of me of things such as "change oil now" changes to say "air bag problem." great. what in the world?
the good news is that after work and on the whole drive home there was no light and no message... i guess we shall just have to see what tomorrow brings...
